Two weeks ago Justin had shingles, this past week I've had sciatica, my husband had a migraine and now, Jerry has chicken pox! We expect Daniel to break out anytime, and after that, who knows??
On a happier note, we are grandparents again! Eve Nicole Bolack was born at 2:56 this morning in Red Deer Alberta. Lorne & Naomi are the proud Dad and Mom, and grandma and grandpa are sitting here, patiently waiting for pictures to be emailed. I will post them on Songs From My Journey and Finding Starfish as soon as they arrive.
And here is Jerry, covered in calamine lotion. At least he has a sense of humour about it!

Congrats, Gramdma amd Grandpa or whatever your grandkids call you. Isn't it always thrilling to hold a new grand baby? I am waiting for pictures. Hope all of you get over the pox, aches and whatever else is in your lap right now. I just know you would rather that sweet little bundle of joy be in your lap right now.
My boys were 14 and 15 when they caught the chicken pox from our pastor's kids. It really hurt them more than it seems to hurt younger kids. I hope your boys all get well soon!

Hi Deb, Congratulations on becoming a grandma again. I'm waiting for my third grandchild, due 1st May but we're still waiting. They are just such a joy and what better blessing from the Lord than grandchildren. Oh and much better for them to have chicken pox when they are young. My son caught his when he was 26, not a pretty sight. Hope you're over everything soon. Blessings Jean x

Deb, I hope you are feeling better. It´s hard to be down when the family is in need too. I will pray for your dear family! I think getting chicken pox is better when they are little then they don´t remember it. but then maybe it´s harder on Mom.

I was down yesterday with pains all over and my youngest is down today. Mine was something minor and I was good to go today.. but my poor baby gets asthma and can´t breath when he gets sick. it´s horrible to watch him labor to breath.
God gives us a mommy´s heart to care for them but then because we are sensitive we feel their pain.
